GiveLight’s model of care for orphaned children includes:

Your giving – directed to any of the funds below – greatly improves the lives of orphaned children across the globe.

Greatest Need: Gifts are used where most urgently needed. More than 80% of our donors select this giving option, which allows us to run GiveLight, sustain our global homes, and expand to more countries.

Zakat: We have a strict and clear zakat policy zakat policy We use this exclusively for items that directly benefit the children, such as food, clothing or uniforms, school books, and medical care.

Orphan Sponsorship: Provide for a child’s monthly expense which ranges from $50  (Indonesia) to $120 (Morocco) depending on the cost of living in the country.

Endowment: GiveLight is building an endowment according to Islamically sound principles with the future goal that all administrative and educational costs will be self-funded.
